The area of a circle is PI \u00d7 r\u00b2.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5-mile radius = ~78 square miles<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15-mile radius = ~706 square miles<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s 9X the area for the same budget.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So if you\u2019re spending an ad budget of $300 to reach 5 miles and suddenly jump to 15, that same $300 is now diluted across 9 times the geography.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That means no one sees enough of your message for it to matter, and you wonder why no one calls.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even worse, people farther away are less likely to do business with you. That\u2019s your core.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Later, once things are humming, you can test new areas.
