We all love getting great reviews.<\/span><\/p>

But let\u2019s be honest \u2014 sometimes it\u2019s awkward to ask.<\/span><\/span>You forget. Or it feels a little self-conscious to bring it up, even with a happy customer.<\/span><\/p>

So here\u2019s how to make it easier and more consistent.<\/span><\/p>

First, of course \u2014 do a good job.<\/span><\/span>Happy customers are the only ones who leave good reviews.<\/span><\/p>

Second \u2014 track how often you <\/span>ask<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

The more times you ask for a review, the more reviews you\u2019ll get.<\/span><\/span>It\u2019s that simple.<\/span><\/p>

Keep a little tally.<\/span><\/span>Have someone on your team report it each week.<\/span><\/span>\u201cHow many times did we ask for a review this week?\u201d<\/span><\/p>

Build it into your process.<\/span><\/p>

And don\u2019t worry \u2014 customers get it.<\/span><\/span>They probably looked at your reviews before they chose you.<\/span><\/p>

So when the job\u2019s done, just say:<\/span><\/span>\u201cHey, if you found this helpful, it\u2019d really help me reach more good people like you if you left me a review on Google.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

That\u2019s it.<\/span><\/p>

Bonus tip: send them a direct link.<\/span><\/p>

Go to Google.<\/span><\/span>Type in your business name.<\/span><\/span>When your listing shows up on the right side, copy the URL from your browser bar.<\/span><\/span>That link takes them straight to your business page.<\/span><\/p>

When they click it, they\u2019ll see the \u201cLeave a Review\u201d button right there.<\/span><\/p>

Make it easy, and they\u2019re far more likely to do it.<\/span><\/p>

And don\u2019t be afraid to follow up.<\/span><\/p>

Lots of people <\/span>mean<\/span> to leave a review, but get busy and forget.<\/span><\/span>You\u2019re not being pushy \u2014 you\u2019re just reminding them to do something they already agreed to.<\/span><\/p>

And if someone says no, or hesitates?<\/span><\/span>That\u2019s a great time to gently ask why.<\/span><\/p>

You might catch a service issue before it becomes a bigger problem.<\/span><\/p>

Most people are happy to help.<\/span><\/span>They just need to be asked \u2014 and sometimes reminded.<\/span><\/p>
